The Joy Brigade

These groups meet regularly for food, games, fellowship, Bible study and prayer. The youth groups at Mt. Calvary are a place where youth can make friends and experience God's many blessings..
The goal of the youth ministry is to bring students in the congregation and community closer to Christ, allowing them to grow spiritually and as individuals. Our Youth Director, Josh Zammit, works to plan youth events that will further deepen their faith. The youth groups attend many exciting activities including local retreats and National Youth Gatherings.
One of the most moving experiences that the youth participate in is the summer mission trips. Students are able to witness the struggles that others face, and help to bring the joy and love of Christ to their communities. During 2006 they traveled to Monroe, Louisiana to join other youth groups in mission work in that city and in June of 2007 did the same inRoswell, New Mexico. The major event in 2007, however, was the National Youth Gathering in Orlando, Florida.
