Sunday Morning Bible Study for Adults - 9:45 a.m.

In the Gymnasium. A study of the book of Samuel begins on June 1st.

In the Parish Hall. An 11 week class entitled Genesis of a Legacy: Raising Godly Children in an Ungodly World begins on June 1st.

In the Ministry Building, Room 206. The Bread of Life Class is in recess for the summer months. Check again next fall.

In the Ministry Building, Room 210. The College/Career class.

Sunday Morning Bible Study for Youth - 9:45 a.m.

The following classes are held in the Ministry Building

High Schoolers (9th - 12th Grades), Room 218

Confirmation Class (7th, 8th & 9th graders), Room 212 (No summer classes. See note below.)



              2008 Confirmation Class         


 Youth wishing to become members of the Lutheran Church are required to go through a two-year course of instruction, usually starting as they enter the seventh grade. They meet each Sunday (September-May) from 9:45 a.m. to 12 noon. The six chief parts of Christian doctrine are studied. Upon satisfactory completion of instruction and recommendation of the pastor, a youth can be confirmed and thereafter receive Holy Communion. Confirmation Sunday is usually observed in early May. The Lutheran Difference (Adults): In recess for the summer, but look forward to joining us in the Fall.
Wednesdays In The Word:  We are excited to offer two options. Child care is available for both.
     (1)  Men, Women, and Relationships (7:00 p.m.) This 12-week study is led by Pastor Truwe and includes topics such as: Men and Women of Generation X; Modeling Roles in Families; Gender Differences, and The Abuse of Sexuality. All materials will be provided. 
     (2)  Adult Information Class (7:15 p.m.) This class is taught by Pastor DeVries, is designed for anyone who wants to explore the teachings of the Lutheran Church, especially those who are new to the faith, are looking for a church home, or simply want a refresher of what they learned long ago. There is no obligation to join Mt. Calvary upon completing the course; however, after learning what we believe, teach and confess, those who wish to do so will be welcomed with open arms.
